Our partner 100 TONN.KZ presents solutions for installing heavy equipment without cranes for Kazakhstan’s mining sector

The 100 TONN.KZ team took part in the 5th “International Mining and Metallurgical Summit” and in the “Mining and Metals Central Asia” international exhibition in Almaty. The company’s experts held a series of business meetings with companies in the industry and presented technologies for the construction, expansion, and modernization of industrial complexes in the region.

Mining and metallurgical facilities regularly need to install heavy equipment. Installing large-scale assemblies using a crane in operating workshops is difficult due to a lack of space or is costly because it would require dismantling building structures.

In these situations, 100 TONN.KZ uses hydraulic gantry systems. The company’s fleet of hydraulic gantry systems, with lifting capacities of 60, 125, 200, 380, 500 and 1,100 tonnes, enables precise installation of heavy equipment while distributing the load evenly across the floor. Installation can proceed without dismantling building structures or shutting down adjacent production lines. Low ceilings and the proximity of utility lines do not interfere with the work: gantry systems require a minimum amount of free space to operate.

For long-term equipment installation projects, clients place great importance on transparency around timelines and budgets. The company’s installation project monitoring system helps keep both under control. Its proprietary digital platform tracks actual mechanical and welding assembly volumes in real time and generates forecasts for any time period. Daily data collected on site provides an objective picture of progress and helps teams identify and address risks early. Built from the ground up, the system draws on 100 TONN.KZ’s practical experience in the mining and metals sector and other industries.

The interest in these solutions made the company’s participation especially valuable, strengthening ties with Kazakhstan’s mining companies and international partners and laying the groundwork for new joint projects in Kazakhstan.
